Victor Cruz, wide receiver for the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, showcased his new uniform and a few salsa dance moves during Tuesday’s unveiling of Nike’s new line of NFL team jersey’s. In the midst of an interview session with reporters, Cruz was approached by a female news correspondent from Yahoo Sports and was asked if he would agree to show her some of his famous endzone moves. After some initial hesitation, the New Jersey native dressed in his full football gear (sans pads) put on a short dancing exhibition for the cameras.
It’s great to see a young prominent Latino like Victor proudly celebrate his culture. Hopefully we will get to see his Salsa celebration dance on the gridiron for years to come. Check out the clip above.
