Review: Boogaloo Assassins “No No No”

I want to welcome “The Boogaloo Assassins” to our NewGenSalsa.com family. These cats are a swingin’ orchestra from Los Angeles, Ca. who are super popular in the west coast. After listening to the track I’m featuring it wouldn’t surprise me at all if their popularity extends around the world. Wow! You’re in for an awesome treat of Salsa fusion which we haven’t heard since the late 60’s Boogaloo era. I’ve seen some of their videos and they put on a high energy show which grabs their audience with their infectious fusion of Salsa, reggae and funk. The song I’m featuring is a cover of a classic Reggae originally done by Dawn Penn called “You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No)” which was a monster club song in the 90’s. They call their version of this classic “No No No” and man does this song swing. The arrangement is off the hook and made with the Bailadores in mind. I highly recommend you pick this up and add it to your salsa collection. And yo! DJs this is a must add to your arsenal.
