It gives me great pleasure to introduce Ciara B. Morales a young talent with an awesome voice who you will become very familiar with in the near future. The track I’m featuring from her new CD “Banquete Musical” is called “Negra Tomasa (Bilongo)” which happens to be a cover of one the most recorded and popular dance songs in the Salsa genre. However, this version has a unique flavor due to Ciara’s capability to vocally blend Jazz, R&B and Salsa to the song and made it her own. Ciara credits some great singers such as Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, Kim Burrell, Michael Jackson, and Celia Cruz as her major musical influences.
