I want to welcome Fabio Gianni to our NewGenSalsa.com family. Fabio, is a talented pianist from Italy who started playing Salsa approximately 15 years ago and has shared the stage with many of the best artists in the industry, such as Ruben Blades, Cano Estremera, Maelo Ruiz, Tony Vega, Paquito Guzman, Ray Sepulveda, David Pabon, Alex Acuna just to name a few. He has also composed/arranged and recorded songs for various latin bands. Fabio studied Classical and Jazz piano and has released a Latin Jazz CD entitled “Rubio” with Alex Acuna (Weather Report band). He currently has a band called The Latin Sound Machine and I’m featuring Fabio’s tribute to the great Cuban pianist Bebo Valdez who happens to be one of his favorites.
