While we await the release of Johnny Conga’s upcoming CD Oye!, Mr. Conga was nice enough to send NewGenSalsa two new promo tracks in advance of the project’s release date. Johnny, the master percussionist who has performed with several A-list artists during his accomplished career is a talented musician with an impressive career that spans over forty years. If you ever had the privilege of listening to some of his earlier work like Breaking Skin/Rompiendo el Cuero, then you would know that this cat is no joke!
“Sidewinder” is the track that I selected to feature for your listening pleasure. I definitely recommend that you add this song to your music collection once it becomes available to the public.
