Review: La Negramenta “Cuando Me Vaya”

This is La Negramenta’s latest single “Cuando Me Vaya” from their new CD “Libre”. The composer Pedrito Linares addresses in his lyrics the issue that most of us rather not discuss although it can be said that death is part of life. However, we never look upon it as such.

If you have purchased any of La Negramenta’s previous 3 CDs you have come to realize that these guys from Venezuela are a great band and put out serious music. If you haven’t picked this CD or any of their previous work, I strongly recommend you do because all their CDs capture all the main ingredients we look for in a production, great lyrics, arrangements and big time swing.
