Omar Lugo is a young vocalist joining the ranks of the new Salsa Urbana movement which is fast becoming the choice of the young Salseros. His new single “Si Supieras” is a Salsa Romantica with an excellent arrangement which has the new Urban sound and classic salsa feel which I’m sure the young and old will definitely enjoy. This track also has plenty of swing which will lead to dance floor popularity.
This young Boricua has been working on his craft by performing with several groups such as Three Son Salsa, Kimary Carrero, Ricky Luis and Barreto Y Su Plena just to name a few before embarking on his solo career. I feel his brand of Urban style Salsa will help bring the youth back to loving salsa again while keeping the old school salsa lovers happy.
