I’m extremely excited about adding this awesome and legendary Charanga band “La Tipica Novel” to our NewGenSalsa.com family of artists. They have been doing their thing now for five decades and don’t appear to be slowing down. Their new CD entitled “Mirando Pa’l Cielo” on “Muziq Records” which was produced by Ernie Acevedo features 10 ass kicking tracks with nothing but big time swing for the dancers to enjoy. This production features many of the best musicians such as Ruben Rodriguez, Maximo Rodriguez, Mauricio Smith, Joe Ayala, Gabriel Machado, Ernie Acevedo, Jorge Maldonado, Jimmy Bosch, Andy Hunter, Alberto Gonzalez, Mike Rodriguez, Ronnie Baro, Franklin Corrales, Joe Ayala, Argelio Nodal, Ray Bayona, Jose Mercado and others! The concept is simple “Musica Para Los Bailadores” y nada mas. I found it very difficult to choose a track to feature because I liked them all. My favorites were “Ron Con Limon” and the track I chose to “Swing la Moderna” which is Salsa Dura at it’s best. I highly recommend you pick this Gem up and add it to your Salsa collection.
