Trayectoria De Clasicos by Adalberto Santiago and Jimmy Cruz is a new production full of Classic songs from the Golden Era of Salsa. When you sit down and listen to these songs you tend to remember everything that went down the first time your heard these songs. Boy those were the good ol’ days.
Adalberto is in his 80s and still doing his thing. He sings the anthems from the late great Cheo Feliciano “Anacaona”, “Plante Bandera” by the late Tommy Olivencia Orchestra, “Pa’ Bravo Yo” Justo Betancourt, and “Un Verano en N.Y.” by the Gran Combo just to name a few of the classic tracks that appear on this Production. The Living Legend Adalberto Santiago did an excellent job singing all these songs including one of his own “Monono” from his days with the Tipica ’73.
You will play this CD over and over again singing along to all these nostalgic songs we grew up listening to. I added one of the track “Anacaona” for your listening and dancing pleasure. We also have have to give Jimmy Cruz a Big Time shoutout for putting this awesome production together.
I highly recommend you pick this bad boy up and add it to your collection. DJs you know what time it is….another must add to your arsenal…Aguaaaa!
