Review: David Lenis Y Su Orquesta “Señales De Humo”

We want to welcome David Lenis y Su Orquesta to our NewGenSalsa family of artists. This is his new album which was released under the Abanico Record Label from Italy. It’s fair to say that the production is good. However, there were a few things they could of been left out. Such as saying the name of the band on every song. That was kind of corny and never should have been done. Normally merengue bands do that. I also didn’t like the song “Vivo Por Ella”. The vocals were very weak.

The rest of the production was good. My favorite songs were the title song “Señales De Humo” which I have added here for your enjoyment, “Eres Mi Sangre”, “El Tren De La Salsa”, “El Muneco De La Ciudad”, “El Pirulero”, and “Que Lastima Me Da Contigo Mi Amor” which has a swinging piano solo which definitely works for the dancers

I would give this album 4 Stars out of 5

It’s definitely worth picking up and adding to your Salsa collection.
