What do you get when you put together great musicians, a great new singer and very determined director/producer?” You get Quality!

I sat to listen to the latest production by Little Johnny Rivero and I must say that I was so pleased I had to call him and inquire about some of the things that I was hearing. Solid recording – from the sessions they must have had including the Mix and finally the mastering. Excellent work!!!

Johnny’s musical journey has been a long one but you can’t help but hear how it reflects on his old life and moves on to celebrate his new one. With solid arrangements, neatly produced, solid vocals and controlled syncopation, he demonstrates why we all s/b happy that Salsa is in good hands.

Each track swings and what I love is that he holds dear what has been the essence of our genre without going overboard. Johnny has been around for a while and has played with many different ensambles which has given him the opportunity to be an astute student of the art form, but his years playing with the great Eddie Palmieri (who makes an appearance on Mi Corazon a Ti Te Llama)is what has given him vision and purpose.

With the addition of Anthony Almonte on vocals you get one of those one two punch combinations that may garner a rare and long lasting relationship that we can sit and look forward to for years to come.

If you’re a DJ or just an Audiophile like me, this is one of those records you will keep going back to. We have added a preview of one of the songs from the production for your listening and dancing enjoyment entitled “Quien Te Ha Dicho.

Highly Recommended by us.
