Review: Son De Cuba “Asunto Social”

It’s a pleasure to introduce to the NewGenSalsa family Son De Cuba who are from Pereira, Colombia from a Barrio named Cuba. The majority of the musicians in this band are in their 20s and have listened to the NYC Salsa style throughout their lives and it’s probably the reason they have a unique Retro sound.

The production has 8 well executed tracks with excellent arrangements and lyrics which had me swaying side to side as I wrote this review. This album without a doubt will be well received by all in the Salsero community. The first track which is a Son Montuno and one of several favorites is the Title track Asunto Social and features trombone solos by Juan Diego Duque and Julian Andrés Garcia and a smooth hot piano solo by Ferney Clavijo which I have added for your listening and dancing pleasure.

This album is highly recommended by me and is a must add to your Salsa collection and to all my DJ brothers a must have in your arsenal.

I want to thank Duke Narvaez (Leader of Orquesta Narvaez) who produced this this Gem for this exclusive. I will let everyone know asap where you can purchase this Album.
