I would like to present the release of this excellent new production entitled “Mi Tiempo” by Jose Papo Gonzalez that features 12 songs which I’m sure Salseros will love.
Papo made sure to add a little bit of everything for your enjoyment. The production contains two english songs which were both given a latin flavor and were originally released and composed by two legends Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” which has an excellent Salsa arrangement by Victor Gamez and the George Benson “All I Am” a ballad which was arranged by Adan Perez. Both songs have the soulful voice of Ronnie Leigh.
The first song released from this production was a Jose Papo Gonzalez tribute to his son “Porque Te Fuiste” (Why did you Leave) Which was composed by Papo and sung by Pedro Jesus.May he rest in peace.
Papo has also added several Salsa Dura and Salsa Romantica tracks that will make all dancers/DJs and the Salsa community from around the world very happy. I highly recommend you add this album to your Salsa Collection.
The song that I’m featuring for your listening and dancing pleasure is “Yo Te Espere” which is sung by Pedro Jesus and was composed by Papo Gonzalez and Pedro Jesus.
