Here we have up-and-coming New York City artist Ron Renaissance delivering the visual for his single, “Kickin’ It”. Ron’s creative brand of Hip-hop infused Salsa has garnered the Washington Heights native praise as an innovator in the NYC Salsa scene.
Born Ron Prokopez , the talented rapper/producer/dancer has performed around the world and recorded with a number of artists including Kool & The Gang, Tito Rojas, Don Omar, Beanie Sigel, and La Excelencia just to name a few. In addition, Renaissance has played the role of musical director for two-time Grammy award winning singer Willy Torres’ NYC Salsa Project and hip-hop’s rising star from Ghana, Blitz the Ambassador.
Currently teaching mambo and salsa classes at his alma-mater, SUNY Purchase College, Ron is busy prepping for the release of his new solo album which should be released shortly.
