Here is a hot new Salsa recording from trumpeter and Panama native José Raul “Lips” Morales, entitled “Necio”. This single is off José’s album Tumbaito Y Trompeta, which was entirely arranged and produced by him and his father Israel “Isy” Morales. The production on this CD is top-notch and features several hard-hitting compositions that were tailor-made for the dance floor.
One of the many highlights of the project is the superb arrangement added to the Tito Rodriguez classic “Avisale a Mi Contrario.” This energetic cover song is simply off the charts and will have dancers everywhere asking for more. Adding to the overall production value of this disc is the fantastic guest vocal features by artists such as Herman Olivera and Eddy Valdes to name a few.
I highly recommend this CD and I consider it a must have for your Salsa collection.
