Cuban-born singer Marlon Fernandez is a young up-and-comer who exploded on to the salsa scene in 2006 after winning Puerto Rican reality show Objetivo Fama, a Spanish-language TV singing competition that has drawn comparisons to American Idol. As a participant on Objetivo Fama, Marlon captivated live television audiences and millions of viewers around the the globe with his awesome singing voice.
Since winning the show six years ago, Marlon has recorded four well received studio albums such as his debut Mi Sueño, Estoy De Pie, Regalo de Navidad, and my personal favorite Homenaje A Juan Luis Guerra. Recently the singer has released a trio of new salsa romantica tracks, entitled “Hay Algo en Ti”, “Te Pido Perdón” and the single that I decided to feature, “No Me Mereces”. These songs certainly do not disappoint and are definite must-haves for all salsa romantica enthusiasts!
