Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Marlow Rosado y La Riqueña deliver their latest musical piece, entitled “Fuego a La Jicotea.” The track is a cover of the classic Marvin Santiago record of the same name, and will serve as the band’s lead single from their upcoming album.
Utilizing an ensemble of excellent musicians, the song’s updated musical arrangement breathes new life in to this beloved track. If Marvin were still alive I’m sure he would be pleased with the results of this fitting remake. We at NGS are looking forward to receiving a copy of the band’s new CD, which happens to feature a guest appearance from famed timbalero Tito Puente, Jr.
