Review: Ricky Campanelli “Embrujao (Club Ext Version)”

Aloha “NewGenSalsa” peeps!

In July of 2012, I reviewed the latest single release “Superman” by DJ Ricky Campanelli and to date that single has been tearing up the airwaves and dancefloors.

On the heels of his first scorching Grammy nominated release “Salsa Como Debe Ser”, DJ Ricky Campanelli has released Modestia Aparte.

With contributions by the incomparable Jesus “El Nino” Alejandro, master percussionist Edwin Bonilla, Rick Davies, Rey El Vikingo, and featuring Juno nominated pop sensation Karl Wolf, this project is an instant DJ ALERT and a big-time MUST-HAVE for your collection. Simply Salsa Dura at it’s best!

Having listened to each track I can tell you this production is in serious consideration for one of the best releases of 2012. Not only does it have great Salsa cuts featuring great percussion and piano solos but it also offers Bachata, Salsaton, and extended Club mixes. The arrangements were written with the dancer/DJ in mind and they don’ t disappoint. No filler songs here just…”Salsa De La Mata!”

The track we’re featuring is “Embujao (Club Ext Version)

If you are a working DJ, program host or just a lover of “rumba y sabor”…. this one is for you.

Ricky’s CD is available on CD Baby, I-Tunes & Amazon.com.

Make sure to add “Salsa Como Debe Ser” to your collection as well.

“Remember…the artist creates the music….but the DJ delivers the message!”

Aloha!
